"Hm." Sam lifts the mug again but pauses. "I don't like that you did that without asking if I'd like that."

He's not saying he minds. Just that Bucky should have checked, generally speaking. Perhaps a gentle hint to Bucky.

Sam finishes his tea. Sets the mug down on the table, wipes moisture off his lip. Stands up.

And then he bolts.

And Sam isn't stupid.

He knows exactly what's going to happen.
